Police ID 4 Capt. Hiram’s burglary suspects, 2 in custody

SEBASTIAN — Two of four identified suspects in a March 9 burglary of Captain Hiram’s are in custody while the other two remain at large.

The two who are in custody were arrested on unrelated charges, according to the Sebastian Police Department.

Dillan Higgins, 21, of 17 Sailfish Road, Vero Beach, and Jeremy Gregory, 22, of Tampa, were nabbed in the Vero Beach Walmart parking lot on Thursday, March 10.

Higgins was reportedly attempting to sell a stolen wet-saw via Craigslist and was intercepted by police, according to the arrest report. Authorities believe the saw was stolen from the 2600 block of 10th Avenue in Vero Beach and was not linked to the Captain Hiram’s burglary.

Higgins faces a felony charge for dealing in stolen property with information on at least one other charge not yet available. He’s being held in lieu of $15,500 bond.

Gregory was with Higgins at the time of the arrest and was also booked into the Indian River County Jail for a violation of probation felony offense.

The third suspect is a juvenile female and her information has not been released.

The fourth suspect has been identified as Emanuel Guadalupe. At the time of this report, Guadalupe had not been booked into the Indian River County Jail.

The Sebastian Police Department posted a picture of Guadalupe on the agency’s Facebook page Tuesday evening.
