Helen Madeline Hartman, 72, of Vero Beach, passed away on March 10, 2016, at VNA Hospice House.
She is survived by her husband Reginald Hartman; brother Ken and sister-in-law Nancy; nephew, Lyle (Angela); grand-nephew Gavin; grandniece Laney, and niece Laura.
Hartman was born in North Tonawanda, N.Y. She had been a resident of Vero Beach for five years, coming from Maryland. Hartman was an Administrative Assistant for the Federal Government in Baltimore, Md., for about 12 years.
She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Vero Beach. In March of 2015 she participated in the Ms. Florida Senior Pageant and received a trophy for the Best Philosophy of Life. She enjoyed playing guitar and writing songs.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, March 18, 2016 at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 900 27th Ave., Vero Beach, where she was a member.
Interment will take place at Parkwood Cemetery in Baltimore, Md.
