Louis John Wodtke, 79, of Vero Beach, passed away on March 4, 2016, at Consulate Health Care of Vero Beach.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Beth Wodtke of Vero Beach; sons Jeff Wodtke of Pennsylvania, Jerry Wodtke and Mike Wodtke both of Vero Beach; daughter Angel Casterline of Peachtree City, Ga.; sister Theresa Henderson of Vero Beach; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Rusty and Stephen Wodtke.
Wodtke was born in Vero Beach and has been a lifetime resident. He was a graduate of Vero Beach High School. He was a United States Navy veteran serving aboard the USS Ticonderoga. He was a very active member of St. Helen Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at St. Helen Catholic Church, Vero Beach. Interment will be in Crestlawn Cemetery.
