Robert Philip Day, 86, born in Valhalla, NY, entered into eternal rest at 3:20 a.m. on Feb. 28, 2016. He was born to Charles J. Day and Frances M. Hazard. He has lived in Vero Beach, since 1982. He was affectionately known as Bob.
He served his country in the United States Army, in active duty in the Korean War as a Corporal with Honorable Discharge.
He is survived by his wife Marjorie R. Day; step-daughters Laura Kenyon and Sharon Sherman; son-in-law Paul Sherman; grandchildren Lauren Landis, Aaron Kenyon, Daniel Kenyon, Michelle Sherman, and Spencer Sherman; and sister Lorraine Clark.
A Memorial Service will be held at First United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2016. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to VNA Hospice House Foundation at 901 37th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960
