Charles F. Weekes, 88, of Sebastian, Fla., died Thursday evening at Sebastian Florida River Medical Center Feb. 25, 2016 after a brief illness.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years Carol Mae (nee Babcock) Weekes; his sons, David Charles Weekes, Alan Frank Weekes, and Paul Edward Weekes, of Sebastian, Fla.; his grandchildren and his great-grandchildren.
Weekes was born in Rochester, N.Y. He was a production engineer and retired from General Motors after 32 years. He was an avid sailor who enjoyed cruising with his fearless crewmate Carol on their sailboat Estrellita.
He loved his family and spent a great deal of time with his son’s families.
