Harris Lamar Crosby, 67, of Hazlehurst, Ga., formerly of Vero Beach, passed away Feb. 24, 2016, after a brief illness.
He is survived by his wife Donna Mae Crosby (Wright) of Hazlehurst, Ga.; son Steven Paul Crosby of Port St. John, Fla.; two daughters, Patricia Casdorph of Port St. Lucie and Pamela Reading of Vero Beach; two stepsons, Tim Snider of Kissimmee and David Snider of Port St. Lucie; one stepdaughter, Tamra Ripley of Brooklyn, Mich.; one brother, Gary Crosby of Hazlehurst, Ga.; one sister, Barbara Harrell of Vero Beach; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by her son Jeffrey Crosby.
Crosby was a native of Vero Beach living most of his life in Vero Beach, many years in Sebring, Fla., and the past three years in Hazlehurst, Ga. He was a retired chemical salesman and Baptist by faith.
Memorial Services for Mr. Harris Lamar “Buddy” Crosby will be held at a later date.
