Robert F. Allgor, 80, of Sebastian, passed away on Feb. 16, 2016.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Pat; three children, Debbie (Paul), Ken, and Jeff (Traci); grandchildren Kevin, Amy, Matthew, Katie, Chris, and Cody.
Allgor has been a resident of Sebastian since 1993. He was born in Bergenfield, N.J., to Robert and Geraldine Allgor on Nov. 4, 1935. After high school, he served in the U.S. Army as an MP. He later was employed as a Bergen County police officer for 10 years.
Relocating the family to Virginia, Allgor worked as a Virginia Beach police officer, retiring after 25 years of service. He continued his education at Christopher Newport University and earned his Master’s degree in criminal justice at St. Leo’s college.
He was very active in his community. He loved playing tennis and traveling with his wife and family. He was also a life-long Giants fan.
There will be a private prayer service for family members on Friday, Feb. 19.
