Helena Marie Schwarz, 89, of Sebastian, passed away on Feb. 17, 2016.
She is survived by her husband Dave to whom she was married for 69 years; sisters Florence Sexton and Betty Ross; sons David, Tim, and Tom Schwarz; daughters-in-law Pam, Lisa and Patricia Schwarz; grandchildren David and Stacey Schwarz, Brian Schwarz, Amy Kearney, Erica Moody and great-grandchildren Brendan, Ethan and Danielle Schwarz.
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Wilma Jean, and step-grandson Trevor White.
Schwarz was born in Woodlawn, Penn., to Vince and Wilma Leonard. She grew up in Aliquippa, Penn., worked in Defense Plants in WW2 and married her childhood sweetheart, David H. Schwarz, shortly after his return from the war.
Together, they brought unconditional love and adventure to their four children growing up in then “small town” West Palm Beach. Retirement brought them to “small town” Sebastian where she enjoyed with her husband unspoiled nature and creation of adventures for her grandchildren.
A Funeral Service is scheduled for 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016 at Seawinds Funeral Home in Sebastian, with burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park, West Palm Beach.
