Geraldine V. Oates, 91, of Vero Beach, passed away on Jan. 11, 2016.
She is survived by her children Ann Dailey, Patrick Oates, and Donna Kashimoto; grandchildren Brandi, Kristi, Jennifer, Kimi, Kayla, and Kevin; great-grandchildren Connor, Christian, Ariana, Kadence, Zach, Rafe, and Trey; and great-great-grandson Ethan.
She was predeceased by her husband Bob Oates; sister Cecila Burkill; and brother Gregory Reilly.
Oates was born in Portland, Maine and has been a 35 year resident of Vero Beach, coming from New Jersey.
She served in the United States Navy during WWII.
Oates enjoyed many crafts including crochet. She was a homemaker for many years and enjoyed spending her time with family.
There will be a graveside service held 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 22, 2016 at Crestlawn Cemetery, 1216 14th St, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
