VERO BEACH — A gas leak is affecting traffic around the Eugenia Road area north of Beachland Boulevard on the island.
AmeriGas has been called to the scene, according to dispatch. The company handles propane for residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural, and motor fuel customers.
It is likely coming from a private residential propane tank. There are no natural gas lines in the neighborhood.
