Harriet Constable Brinson, 83, Vero Beach

Harriet Constable Brinson, 83, of Vero Beach, passed away on Jan. 30, 2016, at the Indian River Medical Center.

She is survived by her sons Perry C. Brinson and Larry G. (Kathleen) Brinson of Vero Beach; granddaughter Jeanne (Gino) Darcangelo of Grayson, Ga.; grandsons Robert Brinson of Smyrna, Ga., and Thomas (Jennifer) Brinson of Vero Beach; six great-grandchildren; brothers Wallace (Clarrisa) Oglesby of Vero Beach and Willie Oglesby of Dublin, Ga.; and sister Mildred Wells of Metter, Ga.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Perry C. Brinson and her second husband Pat Constable.

Brinson was born in Jenkins County, Ga., and moved to Vero Beach in 1954 from her place of birth.

She served as a manager for Southland Corp. at most of the 7-11’s in Vero Beach before her retirement.

Brinson loved to read, romance and mystery novels were her favorite.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016 at the Strunk Funeral Home in Vero Beach. A funeral service celebrating her life will begin at 10 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce.
