George A. Potanovich Jr., 85, of Vero Beach, passed away on Dec. 6, 2016 at Indian River Medical Center.
He is survived by his devoted sister Joyce Potanovich of Key Biscayne, Fla.; devoted grandson Carlo Zaskorski; and his loving great-granddaughter Beatrice of Napperville, Ill. He is also survived by his loving Papillion, Missy.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Annie Mae Potanovich.
Potanovich was born in Bridgeport, Conn., to the late George A. and Rose (Gaydos) Potanovich.
A memorial Mass will be held at St. John of the Cross 10 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016. A military service will be held at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth on Thursday Jan. 28, 2016 at 1 p.m.
