INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Indian River County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a theft that took place at the Sunoco Gas Station in South Vero Beach.
The initially came into 911 dispatch as an armed robbery. An employee’s purse was taken during the incident without her knowledge, according to police. It was taken from a shelf.
Authorities are now searching for the vehicle and St. Lucie County authorities have been notified.
