Michael David Baughman, 56, of Vero Beach, passed away on Jan. 9, 2016.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Lynn Baughman; four children of whom he was extremely proud: Jessica Baughman of Hartford, Conn., Katharine Baughman of Jacksonville, Laura Baughman of Vero Beach, and Benjamin Baughman of Oxnard, Calif.; his sister Brenda Baughman of Greensboro, N.C.; his brother Mark Baughman of Newport News, Va., as well as a niece and several nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father William Baughman in 2013 and his mother Carol Baughman in 2015.
Baughman was born in Albany, Ga., on Aug. 18, 1959 where his father was stationed during his Marine Corps service.
A 1977 graduate of Lebanon High School in Missouri, Baughman continued his education at Central Missouri State University. He received his MBA from Florida State University.
For more than 35 years, he worked in the nuclear power industry. He was employed by FP&L’s St. Lucie Power Plant in Jensen Beach at the time of his death.
There will be a graveside memorial service at Round Prairie Cemetery in Barton County, Mo., at a later date.
