Julie Norris, 41, Vero Beach

Julie Norris, 41, of Vero Beach, passed away suddenly on Dec. 26, 2015, of causes unknown.

She is survived by her children Sydney P. Norris and Aiden W. Norris; grandson Brantley Hathaway, of Pensacola; her mother Susan Cupp, of Melrose, Fla.; her siblings Kaitlin E. Cupp, of West Palm Beach, Elizabeth L. Cupp, of West Palm Beach, Scott J. Cupp, of Jupiter, and Lisa Ader, of Arlington, Texas; her grandmother Cora Harding, of Vero Beach; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is predeceased by her father, Win Farless.

Norris was a beloved mother, daughter and sister. She was born in Vero Beach and spent most of her youth growing up in Broward and Palm Beach County. She attended Hope Lutheran School in Pompano Beach, Suwanee High School in Live Oak, and Florida State University.

She was recruited by the U.S. Air Force and trained as a linguist in Arabic-Egyption at the National Language Institute in Monterey, Calif. She served in Kuwait during the Gulf War translating intelligence for the United States.
