Gladys Mae Nelson, 79, of Vero Beach, passed away on Jan. 9, 2016, at the Indian River Medical Center.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Henry M. Nelson of Vero Beach; five sons, Roger and Wayne Morris, both of Scottsville, Va., Sam, Curtis and Ronnie Nelson, all of Vero Beach; two brothers, Earl and Nelson Morris, both of Dyke, Va.; sister Christine Seay of Busby, Md., and 13 grandchildren.
Nelson was born in Charlottesville, Va., and lived in Vero Beach for 46 years coming from her birthplace.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday Jan. 16, with a service beginning at 11 a.m. at Strunk Funeral Home Vero Beach.
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce.
