Daniel Letts, 55, of Vero Beach, passed away on Jan. 1, 2016, in a tragic hit and run accident on 20th Ave., in Vero Beach.
He is survived by his parents, David and Barbara Letts; his brother Mike Letts (Sharon); his son Joshua Letts (Stephanie); his daughter Caitlin Breitweiser (Christopher); and four grandchildren, Christian Letts, Jordan Letts, Cale Breitweiser and Casen Breitweiser.
Letts was born in Ithaca, N.Y., on March 24, 1960 and came to Florida in 1961.
He has lived in Vero Beach since 1969. He graduated from Vero Beach High School in 1978. Since that time he has worked in the family business, Treasure Coast Jewelers & Music, as well as being a bail bondsman and an independent insurance agent.
A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016, at St. Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal Church, 475 43rd Ave, Vero Beach.
