Lee D. Wiedersum, of Vero Beach, passed away peacefully on Dec. 22, 2015, surrounded by her loving children.
She is survived by her children Todd (Rita) and Mark (Monti) Wiedersum and Dana (Michael) Cassidy. She was the grandmother of nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, and her son Brooks.
Born to Mabel and Arthur Donahue of Syracuse, N.Y. She studied Interior Design at Syracuse University where she met and later married her college sweetheart, Norman Wiedersum. They moved to Long Island where they raised their four children.
They retired to Vero Beach, home for the past 30 years.
She was an avid animal lover, former member of the Vero Beach Garden Club, Moorings Club and Vero Beach Yacht Club as well as an active member of Christ Church Vero Beach.
A private memorial service for the family will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 200 Belle Terre Rd, Port Jefferson, NY, 11777.
