Maria H. DiRocco, 79, of Vero Beach, passed away on Dec. 22, 2015, surrounded by her family at her home.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Frederick DiRocco of Vero Beach; sons Nicholas DiRocco and Frederick A. DiRocco of Vero Beach; daughter Paula Deegan of Sebastian; brother Leonard Mancini of Baltimore; sisters Lenora Dean and Celeste Albert of Vero Beach; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
DiRocco was born in New York City and move to Vero Beach in 1978 from Baltimore, Md.
In Vero Beach she had owned Designs in Cabinetry and also was a custom interior home designer with DiRocco Construction before her retirement. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and the Indian River Golf Club. She enjoyed her golf outings, Thursday movie night and Friday pizza night.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015 at the Strunk Funeral Home in Vero Beach with a prayer service beginning at 6:30 p.m. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015 at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery.
