John Allen Kotecki, 81, of Vero Beach, passed away on Dec. 11, 2015, surrounded by his loving family at Hospice of Vero Beach.
Kotecki was a loving, devoted husband, father and brother. He is survived by his wife Patty; children Steve, Julie (Jack), and Bob (Brenda); grandchildren George, Jesse, Kayla, Zach, Ava, and Ellie; great-grandchildren Austin and Blake; and sister Joann.
He is predeceased by his sister Audie.
Kotecki defied many odds growing up in the depression era in Wisconsin. Beginning with a two year stint in the Army, he went on to become a successful business man in the record industry. He retired ending his career as a top executive for CBS Records/Sony Music and moved to Florida in 1990.
He was an avid Green Bay Packer Backer, golfer, and sports fan.
