Victims ID’d in fatal crash on I-95

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Three people died in a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 southbound at the 153 mile marker Tuesday evening. 

A pickup truck heading northbound crossed lanes and the grassy median and struck multiple vehicles, according to Florida Highway Patrol Sgt. Mark Wysocky. That Ford F250 was driven by Rex Engle, 48, of Vero Beach.

Two of the three people who died were in a 2015 Toyota Camry and are identified as Cleveland Odom, 61, of Delray Beach, and Angelica Odom, 22, of Boynton Beach, according to FHP. The third person that was killed in the crash is John Weed, 38, of Newton Falls, OH, he was driving a 2000 Ford Focus. They were all pronounced dead at the scene. 

All the victims were wearing seat belts and the cause of the crash remains under investigation. Results of alcohol being involved are pending in Engle and Weed’s part of the report.
