Gary Karl Carlson, 62, of Vero Beach, passed away on Dec. 8, 2015, at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Jill; daughter Ashley Tyler (Chris); brothers Raymond Carlson and Ken Carlson; sister Lynne Wahnefried and many other family members and friends.
Carlson was born in Fraser, Mich., and had been a resident of Fort Pierce for many years.
He served in the United States Marine Corps.
Carlson loved the outdoors especially hunting and fishing. He was also a ballroom dance instructor.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
