INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — McKee Botanical Garden is pleased to announce the season opening of its on-site cafe and exclusive caterer, Osceola Bistro.
Osceola Bistro at the Garden Cafe at McKee will be open Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and Sunday, 12 to 2:30 p.m. Osceola Bistro specializes in fresh, local food made with locally procured ingredients including an ever-changing selection of soups, salads and sandwiches and includes a children’s menu as well as vegetarian and gluten-free options.
Osceola Bistro is an American-style bistro located in historic downtown Vero Beach. Opened in the fall of 2011 by Vero Beach native Chris Bireley, its menu represents an array of flavors and influences from around the world showcasing Chef Bireley’s culinary travels. In an effort to support the local economy, promote sustainable sourcing and to further express his love of Vero Beach, Chef Bireley strives to purchase as many fresh ingredients from local farmers and fisherman as possible. McKee Botanical Garden is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to nurture and enhance a historic garden in a unique tropical setting for the education, enjoyment and enrichment of all. McKee Botanical Garden is located at 350 US Highway 1 in Vero Beach. Seasonal admission rates are $12 adults, $11 seniors and $8 children ages 3 to 12. Admission is free for members and children under 3. Hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 12 to 5 p.m. The Garden is closed Mondays.
