Nick Alfano, 58, of Vero Beach, formerly of Port Chester, N.Y., passed away on Nov. 28, 2015.
He is the beloved son of Dorothea and the late Frank Alfano, and dear brother of Connie LaRocca (Andrew) and Thomas Alfano (Christine). He is also survived by his nephews and nieces, Matthew, Alison, Bradley, Max, Kate and Nicholas, as well as many cousins, aunts and uncles.
Alfano worked as Head of Maintenance at the Oslo Middle School (Indian River County School District) for more than 19 years. He will be fondly remembered and missed by the staff and the many students who knew him over the years.
He was an avid Beatles fan, enjoyed music and playing guitar, as well as boating and swimming.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Rye Brook, N.Y. on Saturday Jan. 9, 2016 at 11 a.m.
Arrangements are under the direction of Strunk Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach.
