Junior Carl “Jim” Beinhower, 89, of Vero Beach, passed away on Nov. 25, 2015, at Consulate Health Care of Vero Beach, after a brief illness.
He is survived by his children William B. Beinhower (Cindy) of Grantville, Penn., and Joe Beinhower of Vero Beach; brother Howard Beinhower (Rosella) of Dover, Penn.; two sisters, Arlene Myers of Etters and Helen Pakacki of Wrightsville, Penn.; grandchild Travis Bass (Mary) of Vero Beach and great-grandchild Tia Grace.
He was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Tia Beinhower, of Vero Beach, two brothers, Earl Beinhower of Vero Beach and Ralph Beinhower of York, Penn., and a sister, Evelyn Fisher of East Earl, Penn.
His wife Ida Mae (Layden) Beinhower, with whom he shared 62 years of marriage, died Feb. 1, 2014.
Beinhower was born in York, Penn., was a son of the late William and Mabel (King) Beinhower of Etters, Penn. He lived in Vero Beach since 1986, coming from Shamokin, Penn.
He is a retired lineman, worked for Pennsylvania Power & Light Company until his retirement in 1985. He was a member of First United Methodist Church.
