Lewis Reich, 78, of Vero Beach, passed away on Nov. 23, 2015, at Indian River Medical Center.
He is survived by his wife Helen (Ilona); daughters Aida (Tony) Marchese and Monica (Christopher) Windlan; and grandchildren Christopher, Katlyn and Lauren Marchese and Kyle and Matthew Windlan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and Janos Reich; brother Figoro Reich and sister Mary Reich.
Reich was born on Feb. 21, 1937, in Budapest, Hungary and was an avid soccer player there.
In 1956 he moved to Canada and where he met his wife Helen (Ilona) in Ontario and they married on Nov. 2, 1968. Reich was a machinist and in the tool and dye industry until his retirement at the age of 62. In 1982 he relocated to Florida and settled in Vero Beach, he was an avid golfer, and loved spending time with his family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 p.m., Monday, Nov. 30, 2015 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
