Francis William Palmieri, 71, Vero Beach

Francis William Palmieri, 71, of Vero Beach, passed away on Nov. 20, 2015.

He is survived by his wife Ann; two sons, Michael and Steve of South Florida; and two grandchildren, Emily and Trevor; two brothers, Don and Jim of Pittsburgh; and many friends and a step-daughter, RonnAnn.

Palmieri was a man after God’s own heart. After years of health struggles, he was lifted to heaven by his Angel who has been by his side throughout his life.

He grew up in Pittsburgh, Penn., until his move to Jupiter in the late 1960’s. This hard working, twice handicapped man, worked for JC Penney and eventually Pratt Whitney, from which he retired.

Palmieri’s life was spent giving glory to God by feeding and sustaining those less fortunate. This Godly man had the joy of the Lord in his heart and on his face. Those who knew him loved his humor and his love for them.

After the death of his first wife of 30 years, Cathy, Frank met Ann. They spent 12 wonderful years serving the Lord together and traveling before retiring to Vero Beach.

He published his first book in 2004, “What’s in a Prism: How to Seek and Find the Heart of God.” He left behind several incomplete manuscripts that his wife intends to publish.

When he stepped into Glory, we are sure he heard, “Well done, thy good and faithful servant.”
