Robert Edward Schloesser, 89, of Sebastian, passed away on Nov. 15, 2015, at his residence.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Jeannette E. Schloesser of Sebastian; daughters Diane and Kerry Schloesser; granddaughter Jackie; stepchildren, Elana & George Schoen and step-grandson, Tom Schoen.
Schloesser was born in New York City, N.Y., and moved to Sebastian in 1989.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corp., having served during WWII. He was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Sebastian.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 13075 U.S. Highway 1, Sebastian, FL 32958 or Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960 in memory of Robert Edward Schloesser.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 24, at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Sebastian, with Father John Morrissey, celebrant. Interment will be in Long Island, N.Y. at a later date.
