Dorothy Podlaski, Sebastian, 79, of Vero Beach, passed away on Nov. 15, 2015.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Joe; daughter Lynn; sister Joyce Newphe; brother Donald Perrier; cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends, old and new. Her fun-loving and adventurous spirit will be sorely missed, along with her lovely smile.
Podlaski was born in Glendale, N.Y., on Sept. 14, 1936 where she spent her early childhood.
The family then moved out to Eastern Long Island to Manorville. Podlaski was a hard worker and grew her own company, North Fork Title, in Riverhead.
She and her husband moved to Sebastian in 1988 from East Moriches, N.Y., but she just could not seem to retire. She truly enjoyed her last position with Home Instead.
Her family wishes to express sincere gratitude and appreciation to the skilled and compassionate nurses and staff at the VNA Hospice House.
