Steven D. Wright, 56, of Vero Beach, passed away on Nov. 5, 2015, at Hospice House after a courageious battle with lung cancer.
He is survived by a large family. Immediate family includes his wife of 33 years Deborah; daughters Jessica and Jennifer; step-son Walter; grandchildren Blake, Ethan, Guilia, Dylan, Kaitlyn, Dominick, Britney and Hailey; siblings Lawrence and Donna and Anthony and Theresa as well as many other loved ones near and far.
He is preceded in death by his mother Constance Simonie, father Willis Wright, grandparents Giulia and Joseph Simonie, sister Victoria Kelly, and Aunt Mary Simonie.
Wright was a long time resident of Vero Beach. He was a friend and helping hand to many who crossed his path. He was proudly employed as a part of the security team at John’s Island. He enjoyed spending time at the gun range and being with his family and was also a proud member of the Pallottine Fathers, and Our Lady of Fatima.
Services will be held with the public at Aycock Funeral Home in Fort Pierce Tuesday, Nov. 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. followed by the Interment on Wednesday Nov. 11 at 9:30 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery.
