Gala fundraiser to benefit HALO Rescue Nov. 14

SEBASTIAN — A Lifesaving Gala Fundraiser for HALO Rescue will be held on Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. We will be celebrating nine years of no kill rescue and the thousands of lives that have been saved. The event will be held at the Heritage Center, which is located on 14th Ave., in Vero Beach.

“Our annual fundraiser not only helps raise much needed operating funds but also enables us to continue to secure the ground for HALO’s Field of Dreams, a no kill sanctuary,” explains Jacque Petrone, HALO’s Founder and Director.

“We look forward to a wonderful evening with savory food catered by Baci Trattoria, of Vero Beach, as well as music, dancing, and both a silent and live auction, with the talented Wesley Davis as our auctioneer. This year we have many fantastic items to auction, including an African Safari, a Cruise to the Bahamas, some spectacular jewelry, art, and much more!”

As an added feature, to an already amazing evening, special guest Steven Hirano, founder of Best Friends Sanctuary, will be sharing the night. To be supported and have the trust of the nation’s largest no kill sanctuary validates that HALO is on the right track for creating a no kill safe haven for the animals in the county.

Tickets to the event are $100 per person and can be purchased at HALO Rescue, in Sebastian or online at HaloRescueFL.org. Spend a great evening with HALO and be a force for change in Helping Animals Live and Overcome!
