Dawn Markford Warren, 52, of Vero Beach, passed away on Oct. 28, 2015.
She was the beloved daughter of Jack and Cora Markford of Vero Beach. She is also survived by a son, Colton Warren, who is attending the University of Florida; and one brother, Danny (Aimee) Markford of Vero Beach; one very special nephew, Austin Markford of New York, N.Y; and a special cousin, Samuel McKinney of Spruce Pine, N.C.
She was predeceased by her husband, Randy Warren.
Warren was a graduate of Vero Beach High School, Class of 1981.She earned her Bachelors of Science from the University of Florida in 1985 and graduated with honors. She was also a member of the Golden Key National Society.
Warren was a math teacher, for grades 3rd-12th, at St. Andrews Academy in Fort Pierce. She had previously been employed by Pratt & Whitney from 1986 to 1997 as the Senior Security and Software Specialist. For 13 years, she taught Math and Computer Science at Saint Edward’s School in Vero Beach. She will be missed by the many students whose lives she touched
There will be a memorial service held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015 at Vero Christian Church, off 27th Avenue and Oslo Road.
