Janette M. Richter, 62, of Sebastian, passed away on Oct. 27, 2015, with her family by her side, after several years of struggling with Ulcerative Colitis.
She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, James Richter; their daughter Tiffany Shea Cornwell; their son Joshua James Richter; and their granddaughter Kailey Shea Cornwell; also surviving is her father John D Ringlehan, Sr. and his wife Georgia Ringlehan; and siblings Joanne Cox, Janis Duffy, John D. Ringlehan, Jr., Michael T. Ringlehan, Patricia Slaughter and Alma Scheble.
Richter was born in Ft. Worth, Texas on March 23, 1953 to John D. Ringlehan and Irene R Ringlehan (who preceded her in death).
She met her husband James Richter when she was a senior in high school and he was serving in the Navy.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, she was a tender-hearted gentle soul.
Richter’s variety of talents were so vast but her main passion and love was a period of the simple life which included primitive antiques, folk art and her special hand crafted replicas of that period.
Her home reflects her appreciation of that simpler life. She welcomed all into her home and had a way of making everyone around her feel like family.
She will be deeply missed by family and friends.
