Eugene Joseph Schiller, 88, of Vero Beach, passed away quietly on Oct. 24, at his home at Oak Park Terrace.
He is survived by his three children, Joan Elizabeth, Eugene, and Julie Anne; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife Doris and his son Paul.
Schiller was an active duty Korean War Marine Corp and Army veteran. He retired from Long Island, N.Y. to Oak Park Terrace, Vero Beach where he lived as an active member of the community for 27 years. He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church.
He was a devoted husband, a loving and involved father, and was caring and supportive to his many friends at Oak Park Terrace.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m., Friday Nov. 20, at Our Savior Lutheran Church, luncheon to follow.
