Arthur Lee Dupree Jr., 63, of Vero Beach, passed away on Oct. 25, 2015, at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne.
He is survived by his wife Frannie Dupree; son Arthur Lee Dupree III of Vero Beach; daughters Lequeesha Williams of Palm Bay, and Alexius Mathis of Vero Beach; brothers Ozell McDew of Rochester, N.Y., Marvin Dupree of Decatur, Ga.; sisters Marjorie Billups of Rochester, N.Y., Carrie Brunson of Gifford, Lenora Fay Dupree of Atlanta, Ga., Hattie Dupree of Gifford; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth Buck and father Arthur L. Dupree Sr.
Dupree attended the public schools of Indian River County and was a graduate of Vero Beach High School Class of 1971.
He was employed as a supervisor with one of the local packing house.
Dupree was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. He also loved fishing, shooting pool, and playing jokes.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday Oct. 30, 2015 at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, Gifford, FL. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday Oct. 31, 2015 at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 4360 30th Avenue, Gifford.
