VERO BEACH — A registered sexual offender, previously arrested for possessing child pornography, faces a charge of molesting a child under 12 years old.
Paul Richard Thurwanger, 33, was arrested Oct. 22, by Vero Beach Police and faces a charge of lewd or lascivious molestation on a child under 12, according to the press release.
On Sept. 22, police began an investigation into Thurwanger, according to authorities.
The next day, on Sept. 23, he reported to his probation officer and admitted to the offense, police said.
He was placed under arrest for violation of his probation as well.
