Beatrice Leona LaPointe, 94, of Vero Beach, passed away on Oct. 8, 2015.
She is survived by her son Kenneth J. LaPointe (Claire) of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.; daughter-in-law Mrs. Leonard LaPointe (Pat) of Deltona, Fla.; three grandchildren, Brian LaPointe (Nancy) of Fort Mill, S.C., Kevin LaPointe (Eva) of Denmark and Evan LaPointe (Whitney) of Atlanta, Ga.; and four great-grandchildren, Jeremy and Megan LaPointe of Fort Mill, S.C. and Henry and Finley LaPointe of Atlanta, Ga.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Eugene LaPointe and her first son, Leonard H. LaPointe.
LaPointe was born in Methuen, Mass., on March 22, 1921. In 1951, she and her family moved to Fort Lauderdale from Salem, Mass.
Prior to moving to Vero Beach, she resided in the Central Florida area for 38 years where she volunteered at Florida Hospital in her later years.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved being with family and friends.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Oct. 17 at 10 a.m. at St. Helen’s Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
