Hibiscus Children’s Center hosts ‘Taste of Italy’ Oct. 24

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Hibiscus Children’s Center Wine and Dine “Taste of Italy” will be held on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015 starting at 6 p.m. at Bent Pine Golf Club. The group is excited to take visitors on a culinary journey through Italy.

Guests will delight their palates with the flavors of classic Italian cuisine as they sample savory dishes along with expertly paired wines. This progressive tasting takes participants from appetizer to dessert while enjoying music and dancing as well as a chance to win exciting silent auction items. Visitors will receive a complimentary photo and thank you gift for being a guest.

Do not miss the chance to win the grand raffle prize – Royal Caribbean Cruise for two on any cruise ship that offers a 4- to 5-night cruise to the Caribbean or Bermuda in a balcony stateroom. Tickets are $20 each, three for $50 or seven for $100. The drawing will take place during the event and winners do not need to be present to accept their prize. Sponsorship packages are also available with great recognition opportunities for businesses.

All proceeds from the Wine and Dine event directly support the mission of Hibiscus Children’s Center and its efforts to improve the lives of abused, abandoned and neglected youth living at the Hibiscus Village in Vero Beach. The Village provides long-term home environments for youth ages 13 to 17 years where they receive nurturing, love and encouragement in a family-like atmosphere, along with educational services and career preparation training.
