INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Indian River County Chamber of Commerce announces that the workshop series “Women on Wall Street,” an Explore & Explain program, will be hosted by the Chamber this fall.
In past years, the Chamber hosted dozens of the “Women on Wall Street” programs. The instructor is Mel Ratcliff, founder of Blue Chip Divas, Inc. a firm that specializes in making Wall Street work for women. Ratcliff is known for his creation of the successful “Explore & Explain” library of educational and informative programs that assist women in navigating the transitions of their unique financial journey.
“Women on Wall Street” was created to address the needs of women searching for an educational and informative program about all things Wall Street. This program consists of eight, one-hour sessions that introduce women to stocks, bonds, government securities, mutual funds, retirement and estate planning, and more using easily understood language. This empowering educational program enables graduates to be a participant in their own financial security and destiny. Thousands of women from Indian River County and beyond have become graduates since the 1991 inception of the program.
Sessions are Tuesday and Thursdays, Oct. 20, 22, 27, 29 and Nov. 3, 5, 10 and 12 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Indian River County Chamber of Commerce located at 1216 21st Street in Vero Beach. Cost is $30 per person and covers all eight classes and materials.
Contact the Chamber at (772) 567-3491 to reserve a seat. Seating is limited.
