Sebastian Area Historical Society hosts local speaker Oct. 21

SEBASTIAN — The Sebastian Area Historical Society is proud to present “The Early History of Sebastian and the Characters Who Lived Here, 1950’s thru 1990” presented by Doctor (Doc) Henry Fischer, DDS, Long-time Resident of Sebastian, on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2015 at 7 p.m.

Fischer has seen Sebastian grow from a sleepy little fishing village to the diverse city it is today. He will share many stories of life in Sebastian including little known facts about the Ashley Gang.

This presentation will be held at the North Indian River County Library at 1001 Sebastian Blvd. (CR 512) at Roseland Road in Sebastian and is open to public. Admission is free and refreshments will be served. This event is not sponsored by the North Indian River County Library.
