Thomas Joseph Danaher, 57, of Vero Beach, passed away at home on Oct. 3, 2015.
He is survived by his siblings, Daniel (Lynna Rae) of Vero Beach, Kevin (Sharon) of San Jose, Calif., Lisa, of Louisville, Kent., and Lee, of Phoenix, Ariz; his stepmother Patricia Danaher of Phoenix, Ariz.; and several loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Linton Danaher and his father, Daniel J. Danaher.
Danaher was was born in Louisville, Kent., lived many years in San Jose, Calif., and relocated to Vero Beach more than 15 years ago. He was a successful commercial insurance agent. He served in the U.S. Army, was an avid golfer, an active member of the Elks and worked with several local charities.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015 with a celebration of his life to begin at 11 a.m. at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the Hibiscus Children of Indian River or ARC of Indian River. There will be a private burial in Louisville, Kent.
