Ruth J. Lynn, 78, of Vero Beach, passed away on Oct. 1, 2015, at Indian River Medical Center.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Burlon Lynn of Vero Beach; sons Jeff Rhoten of Vero Beach and Duper (Jennifer) Lynn of Vero Beach; daughter Sandy (Kevin) Conklin of Vero Beach; grandchildren Jason, Tabitha, Todd, and Troy Rhoten, Tiffany and Joseph Jordan, Sandy and Brandy Pyke and Cortney Cannon; and great-grandchildren, R. J. and Jordan Collins, Michelle and Gabrielle Pettry, Justin and Abigail Cannon and Joseph Jordan, Jr.
Lynn was born in Columbus, Ohio and graduated high school there. In 1967 she moved to Vero Beach from Cocoa, Fla. During her time here she was a dispatcher for the City of Vero Beach Police Department, Indian River Sheriff’s Office and Indian River Animal Control, retiring in 2004.
She was a loving, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, but especially loved to spoil her grandchildren.
