John Irvin Cameron, 70, of Vero Beach, passed away on Sept. 15, 2015.
He is survived by his brother Robert Cameron; five children, Michael Hagmaier, Michele Swanson, Luanne Murray, Denise Cameron, Michael Cameron; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Cameron served his country honorably as a U.S. Navy fleet sailor aboard the USS Proteus (AS19).
He retired from Indian River State College, Pruitt Campus as maintenance supervisor and was a member of the Masonic Service Lodge #594. F. & A. M., Long Beach, California. He loved his family, loved to fish and will be forever smiling.
A burial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 30 at the South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 FL-7, Lake Worth, Florida 33449. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
