Robert “Rhino” Taciak, 74, of Sebastian, passed away on Sept. 20, 2015 at his home.
He is survived by his nephew Stephen Taciak of Union Beach, N.J. and his beloved dog, Pookie.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Richard and Stephen E. Taciak.
Taciak was born in Perth Amboy, N.J., and lived in Point Pleasant, N.J. prior to moving to Sebastian in 2005.
He was a Military Policeman with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He retired from PSE&G in Sewaren and Salem, N.J. An avid fisherman he was a Boat Captain and fished all over the world. He was a member of the NRA and a former member of Maynards Corvette Club, Pert Amboy, N.J.
A visitation will be held 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015 at Strunk Funeral Home, Sebastian. A Prayer Service will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.
Strunk Funeral Home and Crematory is entrusted with arrangements.
