Domenic Alfano, 74, of Vero Beach, passed away on Sept. 14, 2015, at VNA Hospice House.
He is survived by his wife Janice Alfano; daughter Dana (Jim) Pounds; son Sean (Karen) Lawson; and granddaughters Ava and Jade Lawson.
Alfano was born in Rockford, Ill., to Frank and Mildred Alfano and has been a resident of Vero Beach since 1997.
He served in the United States Army and was a graduate of University of Iowa. He enjoyed his many years of work as a Director at Prudential Insurance.
Alfano was an avid boater and was a Hundred Ton United States Coast Guard Captain. His favorite boat was his 49-foot Hinckley sailboat with his 40-foot Eastbay being a close second. In his free time, he also enjoyed golf at Vero Beach Country Club.
Services will be private.
