Hilda E. Parker, 93, of Vero Beach, passed away on Sept. 3, 2015, at the Presbyterian Home of Hawfields.
She is survived by her children Rosalie Smith of Young Harris, Ga. and Lyster A. Parker (Irella) of Mebane; grandchildren Rhonda Parker Weiss (John) of Burlington, Amanda Hassler (Karl, III) of High Point and Deanna Dyer of Murphy, Ga.; six great-grandchildren; and sister, Rose Farley of Fort Pierce.
She was preceded in death by her parents, D.H. & Lillie Lyster Warren; husband, Robert L. Parker; five brothers and four sisters.
She was a native of Birmingham, Ala. and a retired waitress.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at Strunk Funeral Home Chapel in Vero Beach at 10 a.m. on Thursday Sept. 10, 2015. Burial will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
