Frank Paul Muth, 87, of Vero Beach, formerly of Beach Haven, N.J., passed away on Sept. 1, 2015.
He is survived by his wife Joan Benson Muth; and two daughters, Deborah Muth and Karen Hawkins and step-children Sandra Cress, Paul Benson, Steven Benson and Philip Benson as well as two step-grandchildren, Lauren Cress and Strother Benson.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Margaret Semanik Muth.
Muth was the son of Anna and Frank Muth, a veteran of the U.S. Army having served his country honorably during the Korean Conflict and was a successful land developer in New Jersey.
He had a kind heart, great smile and was generous with his time within the community. He served as Planning Director of the Southern Ocean Medical Center, was a board member of TD Bank, (formerly Commerce Bank), served on the Long Beach Island Board of Education and was President of the Beach Haven Exchange Club.
His greatest pleasures were flying his plane and swimming in the ocean.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service. Contributions may be made to VNA Hospice House, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
