John Hayth Jr., 77, of Vero Beach, passed away on Aug. 26, 2015.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years Ellen Hayth of Vero Beach; two sons, John H. Hayth (Jennifer) of Ballwin, Mo. and Michael W, Hayth of Horseheads, N.Y.; brother William Hayth (Theresa) of Califon, N.J.; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Hayth was was born in Bayshore, N.Y., son of the late John and Marion Hayth. He and his wife Ellen lived in Vero Beach for the past 30 years coming from Odessa, N.Y.
He was well known in Vero Beach having worked for many years at Dodgertown as the Maintenance Manager before his retirement. Hayth was also a member of both the Elks Lodge and the Moose Club of Vero Beach.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach. The family will accept friends beginning at 12 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
