Harry Waldron Weart, 88, of Vero Beach, passed away suddenly on Aug. 18, 2015.
He is survived by his wife, Ellie Hamlin Weart, of Vero Beach, and children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Weart was born in Seneca Falls, N.Y. and lived in a number of states including Wisconsin before moving to Vero Beach in 2003.
He served in the United States Army as a military policeman in the Panama Canal Zone during World War II. He was a member of the engineering faculty at several universities. Prior to his retirement, he was chairman of the metallurgical engineering department at the University of Missouri – Rolla.
