Emily Larson, 86, of Vero Beach, passed away on Aug. 22, 2015.
She is survived by her devoted daughter Marcia G. Larson, as well as husband Marcus E. Larson, half-brothers Jim A. Smith and Terry L. Smith, three nieces, two nephews, six half-nieces, and four-half nephews. They all miss her deeply.
She was preceded in death by her mother Bessie A. (Kirven) Smith, father Gerald A. Smith, brother Theodore E. Smith, sisters Geraldine A. Horn and Edna M. Wilkerson, and half-brothers Gerald Smith and Newton Smith.
Born in Mobile, Ala. on Aug. 29, 1928, Larson made Vero Beach her home beginning in 1969 until her death. Through those years she met many friends working at Gulf + Western, Piper Aircraft, Luria’s, and Florida Federal bank.
Always a doting and devoted mother, generous to family and friends alike, and often the life of the party, Larson will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
